About this Tour

One of the most visited places in Ethiopia is the Simien Mountains. An amazing wilderness area featuring expansive plateaus, opulent lodges, and sizable herds of the native Gelada monkeys. Hiking across the main escarpment and then across to the less-traveled, rougher parts of the park can take up to two weeks for those with a greater hunger for adventure. In isolated areas of the park, some community guesthouses have also been established. This lodge is the ideal place to begin or finish any Simien journey because of its vistas, aesthetic, and service.
