My name is Melashu Tilahun Arega (Mela), born in Simien Mountains National Park (Ambaras village 3,500 masl) and raised in Debark, a town that is located 840km and 101km from the capital and Gondar respectively. I obtained my first diploma at Maichew Agricultural College in plant science (2007), at Debark TVT College Diploma in Tour guide (2012), at Yardistick International College of Distance BA Degree in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development (2016) and also I have had scholarship award the place where one of the famous Hotel and Tourism School of Salzburg I obtained Diploma in Tourism Management (2018).
I have been working as a development agent by Debark Agricultural Rural Development and as a professional licensed tourist guide in the Simien Mountains National Park since 2012 G.C. Apart from sharing the best sightseeing tips to my guests, I take special attention to transfer to my guests my love for the nature, the culture , the history and the traditions of my home country Ethiopia, so that my invaluable guests can really feel it as a true Ethiopian feels it.
